
Ethan Hamilton, ¹ú²ú¾çÂ鶹¾ç’s beloved athletic director, passed away on July 4, 2024, at the age of 48. A 1997 ¹ú²ú¾çÂ鶹¾ç alumnus, Ethan dedicated 19 years to the university, leading the athletics department through its transition to NCAA Division II and fostering exceptional athletic and academic success. Under his leadership, ¹ú²ú¾çÂ鶹¾ç teams earned 45 NCAA postseason appearances, 21 PacWest championships, and the university’s first NCAA DII national title in women’s soccer.
¹ú²ú¾çÂ鶹¾ç proudly honors Ethan’s faithful stewardship and legacy by naming him a 2025 Distinguished Achievement (DA) Awardee, the university’s highest award. This recognition celebrates Ethan’s significant and outstanding lifetime accomplishments, his strong Christian testimony, and his profound impact on the lives of countless students, colleagues, and the community.
Ethan’s legacy of leadership and service continues to inspire. He is survived by his wife, Andrea, and children, Lily and Eli.
